Public Notice: Umuihuocha Community Rejects Greatman Ugwuadi’s Propaganda
The Umuihuocha-Obohia community hereby categorically dissociates itself from the recent manipulative narrative being peddled by Mr. Greatman Ugwuadi and his agents. His latest stunt, parading a condolence visit during the outing mass of his late mentor Nze Na Ozo Vitus Obasi aka world Bank as a reconciliation and political endorsement, is both deceptive and insulting to the sensibilities of our people.
That so-called gathering in the sitting room of the deceased Nze na Ozo Vitus Obasi was attended by no credible community authority—not the President General of the town union, not the current Secretary General, not the Chairman of the Umuihuocha Ezeship Screening and Election Committee, and certainly not the critical stakeholders of the community. Only Dandy-Canice Orji, a former palace secretary to the late Eze B F Alilonu, and the only living signatory to the piece of paper court withdrawal agreement that brought Umuihuocha to this constitutional impasse, Comrade Uchechukwu Wisdom, and Greatman himself were captured in a photo-op using a Samsung s22 ultra at that private family condolence moment. Also present was Eze Sabinus Nwaneche, the chief mourner-Mr Michael Obasi, son to wordbank, who flew down from his base in Saudi Arabia and Mr Leonard iwuji, who was responsible for supplying drinks for the big event from his shop in Nkwo Obohia Market Square.Nothing more.
Greatman’s ambition has long undermined the traditional process. He returned to Nigeria in late January 2025 to finalize traditional rites for his father—rites pending for over 20 years. On 3rd February, he purchased an Expression of Interest (EOI) form from the government-recognized town union. By 6th February, he submitted it with no WAEC result (a basic requirement), no NIN, just a USA-based phone number,a homeland security id,bio-data and a 2015 gun training certificate from a New York guard training firm. A national embarrassment.
That same evening, he pressured the PG to accompany him to a staged meeting at the LGA secretariat where he claimed traditional rulers, including HRM Eze Sabinus Nwaneche, would be present. The PG wisely declined, citing that the process of screening and sale of EOI forms had not been concluded. It was during this “scientific” maneuvering that Dandy-Canice Orji and his son Comrade Uchechukwu Wisdom were spotted—again, with no other representative from Umuihuocha present.
This betrayal of trust by Comrade Uchechukwu Wisdom—embedded at the LGA through the magnanimity of the same Eze-Elect—stands exposed before the world.
The photo above was taken on April 15th, 2025, during the official presentation of the duly elected Eze, Paul Onyegbule Obasi, to the Ahiazu Mbaise LGA Chairman, Chief (Amb) Larry Obinna Chikwe. Eze-Elect Paul Obasi is seen to the right of Comrade Uchechukwu Wisdom while the LGA chairman stands on his left. Why, then, would this same individual lend himself to a plot aimed at discrediting a legitimate community decision?
In February, when news broke that the community had overwhelmingly endorsed Paul Onyegbule Obasi, Greatman reportedly fell out with his senior brother Paul Obasi and launched a new wave of attacks. During the burial of Nze Na Ozo Vitus obasi, the man who he claimed is his senior brother and mentor who never deceived him,he suddenly announced via a WhatsApp group donation platform created for the burial,a donation of ₦1 million and a cow. Rumors began that he had “reconciled” with the family. But all this was just a diversion to mask his failed attempt to hijack the Ezeship process through manipulation, misinformation, and betrayal.
We must ask: why did no known stakeholder from Umuihuocha attend that so-called meeting in the deceased’s house? Where were the kindred heads, the PG, the SEC, and elders who matter? Clearly, it was a planned ambush masquerading as reconciliation—a betrayal staged for optics and later packaged as news.
The people of Umuihuocha have made their decision. The legitimate process has produced our Eze-Elect. Mr. Greatman Ugwuadi can either accept that verdict and return to his 9–5 life in New York—or continue chasing shadows. What we need now is healing, reconciliation, and peace—for the sake of progress and unity in Umuihuocha.
